About

I am a multidisciplinary artist and educator.. My studio practice embraces discomfort and dissonance as spaces for growth and transformation, using process as a way to navigate and make sense of personal experiences.

Working across media—paper, sculpture, and fiber—I focus on themes of repetition, adaptation, and biomorphism. These are not just aesthetic choices but reflections of my personal narrative. Repetition functions as both meditation and a record of time’s cyclical nature. Adaptation speaks to the shifting roles I inhabit as a woman, mother, wife, teacher, and artist. Biomorphic forms, drawn from nature and biology, shape a visual language that conveys the interconnectedness of life and layered personal experiences.

As an educator, I encourage students to view art as a reflective, transformative practice—one that connects the deeply personal with broader cultural and philosophical ideas. I foster environments rooted in experimentation, introspection, and critical thinking.

Ultimately, my work is a dialogue between internal experience and universal themes. It invites viewers to embrace complexity, find beauty in discomfort, and recognize transformation as an ongoing, essential process.

I live and work in New Jersey with my husband, daughter, and our dogs.
