Saturday, June 17th is going to be AMAZING! There are three fantastic events going on in NJ, and I’m proud to say I’m a participating artist in all three! Here’s the run down:
Whatever, The Raven Gallery & Boutique, Jersey City, NJ – A group show of talented folks that I’m happily a part of at one of my favorite NJ galleries!
Cloud 9: Annual Art Auction, Gallery Aferro, Newark, NJ – Aferro’s annual party hardy fundraiser: you can snag some amazing artwork at affordable prices (including one of my pieces!). There will be fantastic food, music, and raffle prizes.
Art All Night, Artworks Trenton, Roebling Wire Works, NJ – Art, food trucks, art demos, and more. One of my favorite events during the year! I’m still deciding on which piece to submit for the show (oy, so last minute as always!). PS You can still sign up to volunteer (and get a free shirt) and/or submit your artwork – check out the AAN link.
That night is packed with fabulous art and people no matter where you go. You have no excuse to stay in that night. Get out and enjoy with all the funky folks in NJ! I’ll be at AAN in Trenton volunteering from 7pm-1:30am, so swing by and say howdy.
Don’t forget to take a trip to Boonton, NJ to check out this year’s pack for the Dog Days of Summer (and Some Cool Cats)! My entry Stitching Kitty is still available for purchase through the Boonton Arts Etsy store. By adopting one of the dogs or cats, you will support local animal charities and local artists! The critters will be on display all summer long. Thank you Boonton Arts and Speakeasy Gallery for continuing to host this amazing event.
I have added a couple new shibori workshops to the list. The Fall is getting full and I’m so excited! If you need some fun summer activities for the kiddos, I’ll be teaching workshops at Artworks Trenton and the Spruce Street Boys and Girls Club. Visit my workshops page for more info on all the current offerings.
